Java Developer (m/f)

In this role you will be responsible for providing development of high quality functional and scalable solutions that meet the expectations of Product Owners and stakeholders. Using the latest development technologies and methodologies to ensure that they meet high quality standards by taking over all related quality tasks.

Your responsibilities Estimate effort and design technical solutions from user stories Design solution architecture and module design for critical parts of each user story the teams commit to Deliver software which meets development standards for code quality, architectural guidelines, unit tests and testing frameworks Working in an agile development environment delivering business software solutions to agreed standards and timelines

Your profile University degree and at least 5 years of working experience Excellent knowledge of Java (J2SE/J2EE) Working experience : in creating scalable J2EE applications in creating OO and MVC designs/architectures with web development and relevant technologies, like JSP/Servlet, AJAX, JavaScript frameworks e.g. jQuery, Dojo), HTML/CSS with such servers as Apache, Tomcat, JBoss with Linux environment, including knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Shell, Perl, etc.) with RDBMS and SQL (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, etc.) Knowledge of NoSQL technologies (e.g. Mongo, Cassandra, HBase, etc.) High level of quality assurance expertise working with industry standards tools (JUnit, Selenium, JMeter etc.) Knowledge of Groovy/Grails is a plus Experience in agile methodology (Scrum) Very good English (= working language) General willingness to travel
